Inflammation Part 3:

Several foods are great for reduction in inflammation, but the different foods can operate in different ways for different people, so make sure to work with the food(s) that work best for you; and absolutely do not eat anything to which you have an intolerance or allergy. Gluten and dairy are both mildly to severely inflammatory for many people, and should be avoided, when possible.

Any source of Omega 3 will have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as other foods, including:

-Fish (mackerel, salmon – wild is best, tuna, sardines)

-Nuts/drupes (almonds, cashews, walnuts)

-Seeds (sunflower, hemp, chia, and/or pumpkin)

-Fruits (cherries, citrus fruits, cucumber, olives, tomatoes, blueberries, strawberries, goji berries, dates, dragonfruit, mangosteen)

-Vegetables (Bok choy, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, onions, spinach, spring onions/chives)

-General herbs and spices (basil, cilantro, cloves, cumin, garam masala, garlic, ginger, green tea, oregano, rosemary, turmeric)
